New Spring Arrival!!

Years ago when we opened the shop we had a darling customer. She came in weekly, always with a smile on her face and always made me laugh! One day we asked her...."would you like to work here!?" Our sweet Jen has been a BTF shopgirl ever since she moved with us from our old shop and is now our Manager.

We know several customers have become friends with Jen over the years and love her just as much as we do! The last few months its been fun to watch her darling growing tummy. As much as I tried to get her to stay off her feet and stay home to rest....she still kept coming to the shop to see you all! She was there up until our new spring arrival came. Since you all have become not only customers, but friends, she approved for me to share:

Closet Tip of the Week

Here is a closet we are currently working on. Don't let the anxiety get to you! Take it one step at a time!

Step #1: Separate long sleeve, short sleeve, sweaters, layering tees & tanks, dresses skirts. Put them together in your closet or lay them in separate piles on your bed.

Step #2: Go through each pile. Keep what you wear and get rid of what you don't.

**I never wear it but should I get rid of it? Try it on. Does it fit right? Is it in good condition? Do you know what to wear with it? If it doesn't fit, get rid of it! If you aren't sure what to wear with it, keep it for now. Once your closet is clean you'll be able to see options better.

Step #3: Hang all clothes left in closet according to the categories you set up. At this point decide what you want to hang and what you want to fold. For example: hang all layering tanks or hang. Choose what you feel will work for you!

If that's all you have time to do in one day GOOD job! You are well on your way to an organized closet!!

Clean your closet month!

Oh the weather outside is frightful! Frightfully freezing that is! On chilly January days I don't even want to go outside! So while trapped indoors what do you do?

Our handmade Vintage-style "Peekaboo Lace" is a fabulous stretch lace sleeve that fits on your calves & peeks out of the top of your boots. Wear them on your leg, over tights, leggings or skinny jeans. With ankle boots, go a smaller size and scrunch them down towards the ankle. They are lightweight, will hold your pants in place & will not create that extra bulk or warmth within the footing of your boots. You won't even feel the extra layer! Wear them over leggings or denim, or simply wear them on just your legs. If you choose to wear them over leggings or denim, go up a size than if it was just on your leg.
