Wear it on a handbag-Tie it around your new spring bag! What? You don't have a new bag? Well, wake up that old tired bag with a bright spring scarf. A bright spring scarf turns any handbag into a style statement.

Don't overwhelm your face-tying on too big of a scarf for your face and body just looks too overwhelming. If you're a petite person, go for a thinner scarf, not quite as bulky.
Do wear a scarf with your dressy atire-Yes, you can wear your favorite scarf with your new spring dress! A scarf is a great accessory to cover your arms on cool spring evenings.

So, you think you can't wear Skinny Jeans...

...We're here to prove you wrong!
We have so many women (previously myself included) who thought that they couldn't pull off the whole skinny jean look. I know what you're thinking, because I thought the same thing...My hips and thighs are just too big! I'll look way too big in those skinny jeans. Those skinny jeans are just for...well, super skinny girls. And then...I tried on a pair of our new Antique Rivet Skinny Jeans! Wouldn't you know it, they are now my favorite pair!

Who knew? A girl with hips can wear Skinny jeans!! LOL!!
The big misconception with this style of jean is that you actually have to be slim to wear this style. Not only is that statement entirely untrue, in fact, skinny jeans look great on many body types. It’s just how you wear them that can make or break the overall look.

From Angelina Jolie and Kate Moss to Jennifer Hudson, it’s obvious that fanatics of the skinny jeans don’t simple fall into one category of body type and shape. This curve hugging denim is great for casual everyday looks, simply paired with a flat sandal or wedge. But skinny jeans can easily make the transition from day to night, pairing well with a killer pair of colored or metallic heels.

Curvy? Try dark wash skinny jeans with a tunic or a lightweight unstructured sweater. Balance out the tighter bottom with a loose fitting top.

Bigger calves? Try tucking skinny jeans into boots.

On the short side? Wear heels with skinny jeans for a leg-lengthening look; pointy-toed flats also work.

Heavy thighs? Try wearing a longer tunic belted at the waist to camouflage thighs, yet draw attention to your thin waist.

Remember Skinny Jeans don't have to be skin tight! They come in a straight leg as well for a little bit more room.

My best tip? TRY THEM ON!!

What's YOUR New Year's Resolution?

Another year has come and gone...are you better or worse for it? Did you accomplish your goals? Have you reached your potential? Have you achieved all that you wanted to do or become?

At the end of the year, after Christmas decorations were taken down, I asked myself these questions. I don't think I quite conquered all that I wanted to do and become. When I started to think of this year and my goal and accomplishments for this year, I really looked inside myself.

I thouht of everything I have learned this year through personal and business trials. I realized I wanted to learn to accept myself for who I am and accept others for who they are. My new year's resolution: to be comfortable in my own skin. To stop trying to be someone and something I'm not. To embrace the independent, headstrong person I am and to stop apologizing for it.

So, after having a few days since Jan 1st, have you declared your New Year's Resolution? When you look back at the end of this year, I hope you have become whatever it is that you want to be. I am so excited for all the amazing possiblities this year will bring. I wish you much happiness.

Thank you again and again for all your continued support over this last year! We will continue to make Bags That Fit, as one beautiful customer recently said, "Your little piece of Happiness!"
